| I like the soft blending (non-jarring) of the subject with the background. Smoothness contrasted with texture, appropriately scaled for the background. YEA!! |

| This is a very difficult challenge, because it is so hard to achieve white without blowing out the image. While this seems to be a white subject, the image is mostly middle gray. |

Reminds me so much of the art school days: "And now we all go to our easels and take a clean sheet of paper, charcoal, and start the study. Use very little bread for highlighting, if any."
