went for a walk in the park to relax and think after a failed job interview and laid out for a bit in these small flower (weed?) beds.
I've always liked how mystical and magical these are in photographs. I wish (for once) that there would have been a breeze, and that I didn't shoot these at the high sun portion of the day.
Post processing was as follows:
desaturation in lightroom
crop
adjustment layers for:
curves
several unsharp masks (starting loose, and then small numbers)
add noise (3%)
resize for web
add border
hate the title. not sure on the border, first time using a style that's not so clean.
I'm curious to see how well this will do in basic editing against what I expect to see --a ton of beautiful vibrant flowers.

A bit disappointed by the DQ, a border is a border IMO. Was teetering on a new PB of 5.6-5.7 before the DQ came in. Glad to have gotten a few favorites, and some nice comments.
The DQ was good, and finally pushed me to purchasing a membership, so that in the future I'll be able to enter challenges where editing is allowed. |

| Oh what a shame about the border, I nearly used one of those, but did'nt want to risk it. Still this was one of my faves, and people seemed to like the border ..LOL |
