Challenge: Point of View III (Basic Editing)

So I failed on this one. I assume that many people didn't find this an unusual point of view. And to a certain extent, they're exactly right. Shooting from ground level is very common.
However, shooting birds from ground level isn't. Geese, ducks, yes, but not birds. Usually, when you drop to the ground, they fly, and you've done your push-ups for no reason.
Check out the birds gallery. Other than water birds, it's very rare to find a bird on the ground. Usually they're on a railing, branch, or feeder. And if they are on the ground, the shot it usually taken from above.
This sounds like a rant, doesn't it? :D
Just explaining my "point of view" on the challenge. :D
I actually did have a couple of more unusual point of views, but I just didn't like them. Too many problems that couldn't be fixed in basic editing.
  
Btw, no cicada's were harmed in the making of those shots. They're just all over the place. It's the 13 year cicada bash, and he was on my deck, so I just nudged him onto a piece of glass. :) |

Is that one of your American robins? Nice and clear. Like the crop, and off centerness. And sharpness. And look. Nice image. Love the black of its eye! |
