 A pic of my son at our local skate park. Shot in RAW at 10mm whilst lying on my back at the bottom of the skate bowl. I'm pretty sure this'll be lucky to break 5, but what the hell. I like the way the curve of the bowl gives the same sort of impression as shots of earth from space. Well, in my mind at least. :)

Not too much editing. Cropped to remove a light pole, used light EQ function of ACDSee Pro to bring out some detail from the darker shades. Nudged contrast and saturation of blues, resized, added border, sharpened.

This is fantastic! I immediately saw the connection to spacewalk photos. Isn't it interesting how the wisps of cloud in the sky look so similar from far below and far above. Congrats on top 10!

Nice drama in this image. I think it would have been stronger with less space on the right and more space below the rider.

Great! Specially when looking at the thumbnail it really creates impression of someone above the earth. You should paint some stars on the wall :)

Brilliant. The title is exceptional - it completely transformed how I was looking at the image, and it really took a visual fight to figure out that the round thing wasn't a sphere. Front page.
