I didn't realise this was yours - huge congrats on our first ribbon, and straight to the top with a blue, at that. Looking forward to seeing you on the front page again! Apart from the light and the wonderful tones, especially on the bottom couple of sand ripples, is the inclusion of the two walkers, tight up against the top right edge - works superbly.

Beautiful. Could you tell me what kind of exposure metering you used? Center, point, multi, and where did you point the camera at to do the metering?. This because you have the sun in the picture but the rest doesn't look too dark as it should. |

I really 'connect' with this picture and love the point of view. Although the figures lend perspective to the image, for me personally I'd rather they weren't there. I love the tones of the sky and the glittery textural look of the sand. |
