My first night shot in the City. Pity it is the wrong time of the year and the sunset is on the right. Single image tonemapping in Photomatix and few LR adjustments including fixing the lens distortion.

Still waiting for reply on DQ check from someone.

DQ was very unexpected.

Nah. You just have to live with the distortion in basic. It's a pain, but it can work sometimes (at least I thought it did).

It probably comes under the "You may not... distort or stretch your image in any way" rule in basic. I know you're fixing distortion... but technically you're also distorting the image, I guess.

Nice image all the same.

(I know. Random comment. Ignore it!)

I had no idea that applying an automatic lens CORRECTION profile in LR is not allowed in Basic. I mentioned this correction in my comments so that must have caused a DQ check in the first place. (I should stop putting comments on my images!)

Looking at it again automatic lens correction did not do a great job. The buildings are still leaning. I wonder if a wide angle lens that does not cause distortion like this actually exists??

Crisp image. I almost wish you had cropped the image a bit and cut out the building to the far left. The red sign on top draws attention away from the details

This is beautiful... the golden building with the blue sky are eye candy.
