 Rock formations along the coast of Malibu. You wonder what they've seen and heard over the years...

Had a lovely evening with Juliet ( julietnn) and Matthew ( mgarsteck), enjoying this stretch of beach with half a dozen other photographers and a few couples trying to get a quiet moment. Lovely place!

Such a waste, as I live next to this very nice ocean. Open for mentoring! Look at all those 5s!! Impressive!!

Why is this only a 5.6 in the eyes of the voters? It's very ... ummm... not old... vintage-looking! I like it very much.

I remain mystified by what scores well and what doesn't. I thought this deserved MUCH better - there is a quiet strength and serenity here that is not often seen in seaside pictures.

Don't put yourself down just because the DPC voters are predisposed towards the dramatic and the garish. This is a serene and lovely image. Quietly understated. Great border, too :-)

There's something quite special about this. I like the tone and the balance of the composition. And I like the natural looking (unblurred)water. I think the border enhances it nicely.
