 I wanted to enter a cat picture but prevailing opinions thought this was more "artsy". A good thing I don't care about scores...

[ETA] Odd that you should use a DX on your D700 FX. What's that all about? If I remember you can set the D700 to DX mode? But why?! Lack of FX glass?

This is artsy - and I too almost went with a cat photo. Still too burnt from the camera bag challenge last year, thought too many others would have the same idea. :-) This is lovely!
