 There's a lot of squirrel photos in DPC. They are so cute to look at. A lot of the DPC photographed squirrels are almost "Portrait of a Squirrel" looks to them, which are beautiful but, every once in awhile that polished perfection needs a bit of a change so, I decided to shoot the natural surroundings and capture a feeling rather than a perfect technical shot. This was it...though I had the usual DPC squirrel portrait shot that I could have entered. This one just spoke to me and I think voters will get it to some degree but, it won't be rewarded with the higher scores.

This is so cute! Love that face. Looks good in black and white. The crop looks fine and works well here.

Not quite a square crop. Neat photo but a bit busy and noisy.
