 I feel that I betrayed a little my beloved bird using it here as the symbol of the first and greatest sin.
In modern times the peacock's strutting and feather displaying has become a symbol of pride, arrogance, and vanity.

But its real meaning is:

IMMORTALITY, GLORY, SPIRITUALITY, INCORRUPTIBILITY
Willaim Blake wrote: "The pride of the peacock is the glory of God"

The peacock seems very out of place on the steps, and I would have preferred to see the front of it instead of it's backside.

How did you get a white peacock to walk up the stairs?? great photo. would have liked to see more of where he was going though.
