I think if you re-took this without the blue make-up and brought out the blue in your eyes, this would have done really well. I still like the picture, but the blue make-up takes away from it.

I have no idea why anybody would give you 1 or 2. It is on topic, well espoused, nice overall. I gave you 8 since I like all the blue elements in your photo.
