I've wanted to use this dagger in a photograph for quite some time, and when the blue speed challenge popped up, I decided to go for it. I'm expecting this to be brown ribbon material, but I really like this one myself, and I'm a huge Shakespeare fan; I hope people get the title and what it's supposed to be.

Editing: Resized, cropped, levels, hue/saturation to selectively desaturate, spot-editing to clean up some background light, curves, Neat Image, sharpening.

Great concept that works very well in black and white. The B&W rally makes the blue stand out. Composition bothers me - it seems awkward - and very crowded at the top.

Oooh!!!! This is cool. And the idea is incredibly neat. I love it. This goes on my favorites this very second. The selective desat is used to good effect here. The deep blue jewels really jump out and make me say WOW. With exclamation points!!!!! 8-)

I generally don't like desats, but this is the exception. I hope you win (or at least get red.)

very nice....from one who is fond of blades myself....the only thing might be the glimpes of the ring on top of the finger...other than that....very beautiful.

I give it a 9+

THis is what i was looking for. Everybody had a picture with the wwhole thing blue and some look tacky because it throw the other colors off. I like this shot because you grayscale this image and left the blue colored. Good job 9

Very cool. The highlight on the top of the hand is a little distracting, but I like this photo very much. Without the blue it wouldn't give te same effect.
