How do I know the room is empty if I can just see a little corner of it?
LOL...just kidding...however, I was going to do something like this (small portion of room) but I felt DPC purists would kill me. I'm guessing you may be hearing the same thing ! |

nice pose and framing
the skin is a little odd maybe too much midtone contrast |

Seems more about the individual than the empty room. |

This would probably have done really well in sadness. For me, this image is not about the room at all, but about the story of the little girl. |

Cute image, but unfortunately it was taken too close up to give the viewer the sense of an empty room. It seems like you were trying to decide to enter in this challenge or in the Sadness challenge? Because this could pass for the other one better IMO. Of course it is a major hassle to move furniture around to create the feel of an empty room for just a challenge, so I understand :) |

I like the composition but it needs more room IMO. Still, 6. |
