As of tuesday afternoon GMT this is gunning quite drastically for the brown ribbon.

Some people didnt "get it", others related to it. I suppose it requires more thought than a picture of someone looking sad, and thus more time than the 3 seconds or so people take to look at an image... But in any case, thank you to those who took the time to comment, it made the score i was given make sense =)

Anyway - i shall go away and copy out the following 100 times:
I must remember that DPC is all about pleasing the crowds... ;)

Not trying to be difficult here, but please do PM me and explain to me just how this conveys sadness. I do try to be open minded, but seems I lack the presence of mind to truly appreciate the essence of images such as this one. Hopefully you can enlighten me.

I like this shot, and how the use of color convays the emotion.
