Greetings from the Critique Club
Well, I can see where you are going with this idea, but somehow it just doesn't work for me. I'm afraid I was one of your lower scoring voters. Conceptually I have no problems with this when thinking of the challenge topic.
I like the composition, but I maybe a bit like  bvy below. I think for this to work it needs to be either much more blurry, or then much sharper. I also wonder how it would be in B&W? I think converting it to B&W would get over the whole toenail thing (have to say, I'm in the same camp as Lydia on this one - a good pedicure would have helped a lot pre-shoot).
I would say, nice try, but somehow this is missing something.

| If the toenails were cut... I'd really love this! The light is wonderful! But the yellow nail... for such a lovely leg... no... not working for me. *sorry!!!* Still... I can see this in an art gallery. (not voting) |
