 I found on the little marble table the little orchids trembling and slipping down their long stems with a distinct sigh. They suffered their own earthquake and I did not have to take anything apart; they did it spontaneously and thus reminded me of this challenge where I did not plan to participate.

I like the grain. I feel this could be cropped further, or zoomed out a bit. It bothers me that there's only one side of the table shown. I feel conceptually this is a stretch saved by a witty title. (Don't worry, my entry is the same :D )
