This is the other shot I was debating on entering.

the votes were actually divided so I went with the one that I felt had more emotion to it. I liked both equally, though.

I really hope this does well.

i'm really happy this ended above 6. one of my goals for 2011 was getting 4 6s in a row and i can now strike through that one. : )

it's been months that i've been thinking about taking this shot at this location. i've had a few past attempts that i didn't really feel happy about but i thought this set of shots turned out nice. i think i lucked out with the nice cloud formations that made the sunset just glow.

another outtake, the colors in this shot are the closest to what the actual colors were that evening.
