Beautiful, and we can guess the inspiration, just add your talent ;) Maybe it was too close to the Weston, it should have done a lot better.

Oh wow,I second what Bear said! I am kind of surprised, all my higher photos ( except the winner and Spiffy) did not come in where I thought they should, this was an 8 of mine... sigh well go figure. Excellent job!!

Fascinating image and great processing, Johanna. The 3-dimensionality of this is just amazing, I can "feel" the roundness of the lower part of the thumb and the tension of the finger tips pressing into the palm. (Not voting).
