 Just commenting on the "greyness" of the image. I chose not to stretch out the complete tonal range, because from the research I did, the photos of the time weren't quite as full as modern prints.

Lighting is a single 300w/s strobe with 18 inch beauty dish placed about 3 feet from the model.

Congratulations on your new placement. I think your photo is very Westonish. Maybe not his typical background but captures his spirit. I think Mr Weston was very much into the female form and it shows up in his vegetable photos as well. I gave it a 7 and now think it should have been higher. Again, congratulations!

Beautiful shot. If the shot had more extreme blacks and whites (more contrast) I think this would be near perfect.

There were many nudes in this challenge, and this is one of the few that actually appealed to me. Great job with the composition and lighting!!

Your subject seems very Westonian to me, although the bg does not. His nudes generally appear on stark, empty backgrounds. (not voting)
