| Front page material. Love the tones, detail and contrast. While I think some of Weston's fruits/veggies mimic the human form, subtly, here I am am reminded of birds. Or sea lions. If I was to nit pik, and I won't, I would say a 4x5 (or 5x4) crop would be more Weston'esque. No matter though. 9 from me. |

| Hmm, I wish I knew what this was. I think you perfectly captured the best Weston sensibilities with this shot. I love the ambiguous motion and poses created by an almost abstract capture of something either unusual or just looked at unusually. I am not sure, but it does seem like the area around the brightest highlight is out of focus, so that detracts from the Westoniness. |
