It's not very sharp, and you've lost detail in your blacks on the handle. Gotta give you kudos for using the blade creatively though.

I am not sure what was your lighting, it seems to me that you had three light sources... which does not work well, especially as the shadow of the blade is not sharp at all. Anyway, a very creative and original idea, I like it!

I like the shadow, but wish you could isolate your light sources better so that there weren't so many shadows. The shield in the rear is at a weird point between in focus, and OOF. (you also have some sensor dust towards the top of the image)
