 I didn't want to pass up a flying bird challenge but only had a couple hours to get out this week. This was the best I found. Raw capture, cropped, resized, sharpened and darkened 15% in Capture NX. I would have liked to clone out a couple distracting items in the wated but can't with basic editing. I hope I don't do too horrible on this one.

I wish the dark spots on the water above and below the head weren't there -- they are very distracting. On a second look at this photo, I have decided that I really like the focus, wing motion blur and water droplets visible on the abdomen and dripping off the feet and tail. I just wish the water wasn't so dingy looking.
