It was taken in Zurich - i cant remember the church tower i took it from tho, it was on a hill and had fantastic views of the city :)

Thanks for the appreciation to those who left comments and decent votes - you will always get the 1-4s voting on photos you may have put a 10 for... i never know how it happens with some shots. It was an interesting time watching the votes and comments come in.

Black and white was never going to be a good choice for the challenge - or DPC mostly - although will be interesting to see the result of the B&W and Weston challenges in terms of winning score...

Where was this taken? And who could give it two marks of 1? I love it. Thought for a moment that it has some atmosphere of Bruges (Belgium) but it could be England. Scotland?

My highest score in the challenge, also given to the first and second place winners, but what is this lovely shot doing down here at 18th? Oh well, it is still a lovely shot.

I hate to be critical but I usually appreciate it. I love this picture but given the theme for the contest this picture doesn't cut it. There is no real focal point that truly grips my eye.
