The reworked version does it much more justice, and I would love to see the series if you make one!

it does have mass murderer appeal.

*shrug*
I expected about as much. I personally love the photo, but prefer a slightly better post-processed version I did when I wasn't rushing to get this entered :) The Reworked Version
"underexposed" and "lighting from other than dead on" don't get the point of this, which is understandable. This is, in fact, a brand new knife. I styled it with an ace bandage, electrical tape, band-aids and a mixture of hoisin sauce and cocoa powder.
The lighting is provided via my makeshift ring flash wannabe - a magnifying work light with a circline fluorescent tube (magnifier removed) about 12" from the subject at 16mm.
Original inspiring work by David Emmite.

Hmmm...Gangs of New York anyone? I would've liked to see a plainer background to emphasize the grittiness of the knife. But that's just me. This is great! |

I have to give you your kudos on creativity. Little disgusting ( how I love that ). Imight have liked different background. Dirty cutting board, solid black, hell I dont know but I dont think the background did your composition justice.
Good job. |

this has potential, but needs lighting from somewhere other than dead-on. |
