Thank you for the correction! Posthumous and I looked and looked but couldn't find another one. Congrats to you on being the 1st! |

You probably know more about 1x than I do. If you think this might do well over there, I might try uploading it and see how it will received. I wouldn't care one way or the other. 1x.com isn't a site I hang out regularly. Besides why should I care what style 1x.com likes? I am not going to alter my style just so that it becomes less DPC-like and more 1x.com like. I put a lot more stock into DPC than 1x because it involves a much larger sample size than it does on 1x which is basically what 1 single curator thinks of the images submitted over there.

I'm a little slow and just finding this. Absolutely gorgeous work! Everything here is so very appealing to me and the tonal choice is fantastic!
Very well deserved blue ribbons, indeed! Congrats! |

The coveted double blue - and with pigeons! They remind of European pigeons - are they? I love the one just about to land on the light fixture. Poetry, indeed. Thanks! |

hmmm... well I did give her a 10 on a red ribbon before I was doing ribbons... but you're right, she's not the one... I know I've done it, though... |

No selective blur was added, it was the super-shallow depth of field (f/1.2) that created the out of focus area :) |

The real poetry is in your timing -- like the way you've caught that bird in the lower left so close to landing. |

I know not everyone likes pigeons but I can't imagine a city without them. So I like this bit of urban nature, with the pigeons in various poses, ready to squash themselves onto tiny ledges. Except for the clever one who gets a lamp to himself ;-) |

Can't stop staring at this, it's just EPIC. The processing is awesome, love the tones, you have a winner here, truly the best so far, and My pick for the bluey, even though I haven't seen all the photos yet. I'm adding it as a fave. |
