 Etymologically, the word Hierophant was constructed from the combination of ta hiera, "the holy," and phainein, "to show." This fish eagle is clearly trying to show you his holey.

I'd give this one a ten just because I don't think I've ever heard someone say etymologically.
The devil's advocate would say it looks like he's trying to hide his holey.
The ornithologist would ask why "he" has a holey.
The philosopher would ask why you're trying to shoot his holey.
And I just really can't get past that. Why were you trying to shoot his holey?

Anyways, typical adjective for owls: "wise"
Rough translation of hierophant: The one who shows you the way
Anyways, lose the border and I'd say it's top 10.

I like this photo quite a bit as a bird photo so I'm giving you a 7, but feel it's a bit of a shoehorn as the Hierophant.

I think this was over smoothed, alot of detail in the feathers has been lost and it almost has a "plastic" look to the picture

a pov here that isn't seen very much but as the hierophant? I've really had to think about this, not that I agree but you get extra points for making me think
