 This is the most unnatural looking section of river I've seen. It runs through Pingtung City between train tracks and a busy street. From what I understand the two support structures, running down the middle, were used to support flooring for an outdoor market. With the flooring removed and the return of sunlight, nature is finding it's way. The plant life is obvious and if you look close there is a white egret in the top right corner. I also saw fish, ducks, and other birds while shooting this. It's become a sort of nature sanctuary.
