This is a great photo... The only detraction is the horizon being on a lean.. Really simple composition that works soo well. |

nice idea. i would like it more if the horizon was lined up straighter, or if the angle was a lot more exaggerated. the colors are nice. |

The only thing I don't like about this picture is that the horizon isn't level. Other than that, a great photo! |

I like the mix of colors and the negative space. Horizon looks a little tilted, tho. |

Awesome! But flip the photo so the life preserver is on the right side - we read left to right. :) |

I like this but am unsure what you did to the sky. Looks a little fake. |

Would like to see that horizon straighter. |

you caught the light perfectly. the composition is great, the colors vivid and it really makes me feel the beach. My only gripe is the unlevel horizon of the water. Otherwise, great capture [9] |

This image has so much potential - it is a classic "layering" of colors in nature. The breaking of the layers by the vertical pole and life saver is a perfect touch. But, and in this case it's a big but... the crooked horizon pretty much ruins the effect. Do it again being very careful with the horizon - you will like it much better. |

Great composition. If you want to straighten your horizon, there's a great tutorial on how to do it in the tutorials section of this sight. |

this caught my eye with its sparcity. is that the sun reflecting off the lifesaver or did you blow out the reds too much? |

I don't know where you live, but I don't normally see a lifesaver every day. So I didn't think it fit the challenge completely. |

Mike is on vacation tomorow and this photo makes him yearn for the beach. Celine loves to blue of the sky and water. |

I like this... a little more depth of field and rotation would have made this stand out even more! |

I think it is a little bit oversaturated... though a nice pic! |

Nice colors, not very sure about the slanting horizon. I assume you did not straighten it due to the slanting lifesaver pole. Lovely composition. |
