 Taken during what dwindling daylight was left at 8:00 last night.

Unfortunately, I almost had to sharpen this picture to within an inch of it's life due to the DOF I used. Ideally, I would have liked the stamens to have been in focus, but because they weren't I had to apply more USM to the pic than I would normally like to. I'm still quite pleased with the results though.

PP work was minimal: contrast, saturation, then NeatImage and USM.

Beautiful picture, but I don't think of a flower as an everyday object.

Good concept but the blurred petal I find a little distracting

Cool image. It makes you think for a second and question what you're looking at. (But, regular butterflies, the insect kind, are organic too, right?)

Beautiful shot. It is hurt by the blurred petal coming out at us unfortunately. I believe the rest of the soft focus is what you were going for. I like the crop you used, also, to add more interest.
