| Good capture Joe! Birds are a beast even with a telephoto, let alone a P&S. Make sure to check your histogram to make sure individual channels aren't blowing. I'm not sure if you can get a RGB histogram on your P&S, but if you can, make sure to check it specifically when you shoot reds/oranges. It's been my experience that they blow FAR easier than other channels and block things up. Just something to keep in mind. In any case, I think the close crop works well here given the positioning of the bird, and I don't mind the main branch in front of the bird, but the OOF one is a bit distracting. The leaves frame the bird nicely though, without cluttering things heavily. |

| Tough capture. Focus is nice for all you likely had to deal with. Bit of a tight crop for me, but nice work. |
