So in your youth how many have played the game of pulling the petals off a flower to determine if he/she loves you?

I bought these lovely yellow daisies for this purpose. I have had an idea that plays upon discovering if "he/she loves me, he/she loves me not" and a hole punch of a stamp in the petals.

I did not find the daisies that only have the single petals radiating out. The thought was to heart hole punch each petal. The daisies they had in the store has layers so that if I used my heart hole punch it would not show up (and it is not easy hole punching a petal as you may think). So I tried with just one petal sticking out so you could see the blue. But it looked to much like the flower was sticking it's tongue out.

So I tried it with inserting the petal further in. But it was not as visible. So I cut out a small red piece of paper and placed it under the petal to show through on the cut out. Ta-da! Works! Tried several different 'background papers that I lay on the floor but the blue one worked best.

Lighting: One small flashlight standing up that the daisy is sitting on top of. Two really small Lifegear flashlights hidden under the flower petals on either side to fill out the radiant light from behind the flower. Light streaming in from the slightly closed blinds of the window to the far right of the flower (about 8 feet away)

I like the idea. I find the blue seersucker fabric a tad distracting with it having so much pattern to it.
