 This stray book without covers found on the sidewalk was the subject of the atrocity shown above. On the first page what caught my eye was the word "impermanent".
The half book rests now in the drawer labeled "photo casualties".

And yes, it was "Dune" the lost book, which tells stories about one's neighborhood!
