 I didn't realize this was a b&w challenge till after I shot this. It is a great color photo! I think it's just so so as b&w but I didn't want to re-shot.

desaturate, adjusted exposure & contrast, adjusted curves, adjusted contrast, sharpened, re-sized and saved

you should of had the sun sent in focus it would of been better

When setting this up, I would have moved the pine needles so they aren't in front of the pinecone. The bokeh on here is great.

this photo totally lacks much contrast... this leaves me bored and uninterested with it. I suggest possibly adding more contrast somehow next time, through in camera or post processing. Not sure. I like the concept and I think you are getting there but I'd like to see more "impact"! if you know what I mean? :) Hope this helps... thanks!
