 This is my FIRST challenge!! I'm very excited to be part of the fun.

This image is a collection of several bamboo and wooden double point knitting needles which I use to knit all my socks. I tried to disguise them by arranging them very close together in a parallel manner without showing the points on both ends.

In addition I played with level and brightness/contrast adjustments, and applied a hue/saturation level which allowed my to colorize the natural wood tones to a bright red, in an attempt to further disguise the subject's true identity. Before resizing, I did a very minor sharpening of the image.

That looks like a carpet fiber or some sort of nylon or synthetic thread stretched taut over a light. Great image!

I like this. It could be almost anything, but it has a glass or metallic feel to it. Then again it could be a straw.

Reminds me of a stir straw... but not sure. The composition is cool with the way the pic leads from one corner up. Nicely done.
