A very good close-up of the cat - focus on the eyes is just right. It doesn't work for me as an album cover though.

Hmm, I think I'd be surprised to see this on a shelf at a record store. As an album cover, it doesn't work too well (neither did my submission = P A sharp photo though.

This really is a wonderful image - the detail is extraordinary. I'd score this more highly if I could see it with text to understand what kind of finished look you had in mind.

It's a beautiful picture. I guess you will get low votes because you didn't make it square and added the bandname. Well, I imagend two black blocks on either side of the picture to make it square, and think it's an impressive album cover then. So 8 from me.

You should have added titles to the picture and cropped it square like an album cover to meet this challenge.
