Great shot. I take it the DOF is all in post-production because I can't bring myself to think a 17-40 at f/7.1 would have a DOF like this. |

The zebras are perfect but the sky is a bit overwhelming it immediately takes my eyes away from the couple.. |

Nice contrasts and b/w. Not sure if I would have liked a touch more dof as I love the animals and I know that would change. They look perfect! |

Wonderful scene and great use of depth of field. Going black and white with this subject is risky (in my mind) but you did it well with nice contrast. |

Excellent composition. You nailed the focus on the zebras. Monochrome really works here and throws attention to the stripes. The blurred background is both distracting and a very good technique. I really like placing wildlife in landscape scenes, but it's very difficult. (Ansel Adams never did it.) I admire your image very much. 9 |
