Here's looking at you. Clever stuff!

This is not pudding or a tub of butter. Its a piece of plastic I molded to a bowl shape . I was attempting to use it for the motion challenge by spinning marbles around in it while using a strobe light. I didnt like the results. So I shot this and others with stationary marbles. The yellow cast is from setting the incorrect white balance.other examples

Right from the start I liked this a lot. It is very different and I find the coloring to be appealing.
I love the background you chose...I still don't know what it is. Pudding???
I'm really surprised that this didn't score higher. It's well composed, exposure is good, focus is fine.
I really don't see anything I'd change. I really like this and I scored it high.
Nice work!
Please email me and tell me what the bg is.

Nice technical shot, It just doesn\'t fire my rocket. It reminds me of something that should be in my opthomologists office.

This would've been a great pic for the illusion challenge. Well done - Inspzil

The thumbnail intrigued me. Careful about reflections...I can see you in there! ( that may have been your intention).

You almost have a reflection! Wearing a red shirt? Wierd image. Seems to me it might need some sort of context, more than a plain yellow background. 7 Swash

Interesting idea. I like the intense colours and those faint rings of light. I can see your reflection... I kind of like that :). But overall, the image falls a little bit flat. Maybe an off-centre composition with a longer shadow would have been more dynamic?

Hey, Put That Back!!!!!!!!..............nice graphic

This is a freaky picture, but I like it. Tones are very good. I wanna know what it is...lol

A shot like this begs you to stare at the center object -- and when I do, I see the reflection of the photographer. Without much experience on things like these, I'm not sure how to tell you to fix it. The composition is a very good idea, though -- with the yellow on yellow. I'd prefer to have the object perfectly centered in the background (right now, it's low and maybe slightly to the left).

The circular markings / highlights on the paper are a good continuation of the circles of the central object, but it really needs a bit more contrast to make them stand out. A squarer crop might also help here.

This one is kind of wierd looking, I like it. The glare on the thing is distracting.

Interesting abstract. I'll be interested to see just what I am looking at. DPz

really cool and creative.. great use of negative space! turning the brightness down a tad so the color is richer might make it even better

What a great composition! However the image seems a bit streched to me, also I think it would have worked better in horizontal composition.

Interesting. I think that you may have too much light on the eyeball. The reflection might need to be softer. The position of the eye on the page works, as well as the ripple around it. Sharpness is good.

Ewwww.... so realistic!

Fish eye? Eerie looking but you did a wonderful creative shot. Nice work.

Cool shot, I like the various colors in the "eye".

This creeps me out. ;) I can't figure out he shading on the yellow background - it looks almost like waves. Good color although the bright white spot on the eye is a little distracting and you can see your refelection if looking closely. = 6

EEEEEEWWWWWWWW. I love it. Very original background colour. Good luck. jacko 9

it looks like you may have used the flash on the camera because of the single light reflection on the bead in the center and because of the shadow. the shadow keeps it from looking like an eye, but i don't know how else you would have done it with other reflections and all using more than one light source. composition and color is good. the overall picture doesn't have that wow effect for a high score.

Kind of strange. Not totally my cup of tea, however, technically well done. The color is nice, and your focus and clarity are good. Angle and framig/cropping are good. I don't mind at all that this is centered. The "halo" or yellow ring around it almost brings it out of the center and towards the upper left. not litterally, but our eyes are drawn that way. Had not been for that yellow circle around your object, I think this would look silly just sitting there. So that was a great decision. Lighting also seems good on the subject. Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge.
