Absolutely stuning! Love the composition of the path of the water as it flows into the lake. My eye also flows from the flowing water path to the earthen path to the right. The fence that spans from the land to the lake also adds visual interest. Love how there are the two lone trees on the left to balance out the heavy tree lined path on the right. And right in the middle is the splendor of the mountain range that rises over the lake. Beautiful colors as well! I think that this is the same location as Scotto's photo Buttermere yes? Loved the scenery in the photo that I composed a poem years ago that I believe would fit your photo quite nicely as well.
Gaze upon my valleys and lakes
and in you shall awake
the desire to roam
in the fields below.
Gather your walking
stick, abandon
your shoes and let
the land caress your
bare sole. |

| That's interesting the way the fence goes into the water. Perhaps the lake is not nearly as high at other times of the year? |
