what kind of lighting setup are you using. the lighitng is nice and even and the pose is classic. great for a standard portrait. skin is way oversmoothed, espescially for a mail but that is my taste. again, just my tast but i might have gotten him a little further away from the b/g if possible |

as others have said, the softness is a little too much for me. He looks a little too much like a plastic ken doll. But, nicely lit. |

Nice lighting and posed, I like how his eyes keep the viewer attention. I agree about the softness on his face, but other than that a nice portrait. |

Great job with the lighting. It looks like you added a softening effect of somesort, it might be a tad too strong for my taste, especially for a boy. The hair especially seems a little over softened it looks a little unnatural. |

Is this the "yearbook" pose? It's wonderfully lit, looks just like the lighting from a LifeTouch portrait. (I worked for them for a while and miss having access to those lights.) I'm not really good at the critique part, I'm usually a praise person. LOL! |
