 I wasn't really sure about entering this challenge. I was hoping for a completely different setup, but it simply didn't work out. However, I just stumbled upon this park with a giant oak tree leaning over a bench. The difference in scale really seemed to fit this challenge.

I had to process this photo a bit to make it decent. As shot, it was pretty flat (the lighting wasn't great, as the sky had heavy cloud cover). So I started by bringing out some of the details and colors. But then I didn't really like the colors, so I went to this more classic look.

Post Processing:
* De-vignette
* Increase Exposure and Black Point
* Topaz Adjust and InFocus
* Chromatic Aberration
* Increase Brightness
* Increase Contrast and Definition
* Increase Saturation with lower Vibrancy
* Extra Saturation to foreground snow
* S-Curve
* Remove blue from snow
* Black and White
* Export to TIFF
* Resize to 760 px
* Save as JPEG

Nice the way the tree expands to fill the frame. The bench is nicely framed with the surrounding elements.

Really beautiful shot..may have benefited from more negative space on the right...although I recognize that would've been hard considering the smaller tree you tried to crop out. 7 from me :)

i dont really feel that the bench is the sentinel in this image, i would say it is the tree that is looming over it. just a thought
