 Quite an omen to take this photo of a sentinel to friendship right now, when Egypt is so much in the news. This sentinel stands for 3411 years, 130 years of which in Central Park. It is a recurrent subject in my photos of the Park, different in appearance or meaning, like almost everything, depending on the light and season.
I had a lot of trouble submitting this photo. Had to do with its size ("significantly smaller") although I read and reread the tutorial that always helped me.
I might suffer the consequences of my inability.

I very serioulsy thought this was a MUCH MUCH BETTER PHOTO, than the voters placed it! Centered but it worked, the branches pull my eyes to the sentinel and the processing I thought fit very well with the photo. My entry also was a dissapointment to me, A good Photographer friend of mine who didn't enter anything in this said I should've used the word Sentinel in the title, that was what the rule said,,, I've read n reread that but didn't get that understanding.. Oh Well maybe he was right!
