I did manage to get the edgy look I wanted in this shot. I have to say though, the image doesn't do my model Sophie justice. Here is straight portrait of her from the same session:

Awesome take on this challenge! Cant decide if the grain adds to the grungy look or not -- but will give you the benefit of the doubt! Killer pic -- well-deserved 7!

EDIT: on second pass, upped my vote from 7 to 8. Just love the edgy feel!

Wow! This shot is nice in the thumbnail and even better to size. It works together so well, the red lips - but not over saturated, the grain which adds a primal feel, the bump on the nose that takes the traditional beauty and makes it individual, and the deep straight hair falling over the eye in a "I'm me" attitude. Wow!
