 ... of the Golden Gate.

Statue entitled "Guardian" was installed in a bit of artistic guerilla action ("plop art"), without prior approval of the City. It sparked some controversy due to its warlike countenance, but it has nevertheless been here guarding the fishing pier since 1985.

wish there was more of the sentinel visible, for from this angle it is quite tricky to see details.

I like the perspective, aligning the sun and the main subject. Great silhouette. I find that tree branch on the upper right a bit distracting.

Nice find on a sentinel. Just my 2¢, but I think the image would have been better if the horizon was straight, there was more light on the sentinel, instead of being a silhouette, and I think if you would have composed the image so that the pier was on the right third of the frame the composition would have been stronger.

Nice exposure on the horizon though, the distant mountains and the buildings.
