 This is a local lake near my house, there are houses in the background which were lost in the fog. I did wonder about cropping the bushes on the left. I often visit when it's foggy as the vista is always different each time. The colour version isn't that much different.

One of the best I have seen so far - these shots really appeal to me. The jetty seems to be leading us from the dark (evil) towards the light (good). Not sure about the cropped tree / island on the left though - a little distracting.

Just classic.
Yes the clump of foliage on the left will tick a few off, might look better without it but I think it adds a hint of depth. Without it would be equally good leaving a void of no return.
