 This is the pipe in which the shotput is rolled back to the athletes. Hehe.

Got DQ'ed as I used too much darkening in the change to B&W, so the background was lost too much. I had this misconception that if done all over the photo, it is acceptable. Here's the original:

You may not use ANY editing tool to move, remove or duplicate any element of your photograph that would change a typical viewer's description of the photograph (aside from color), even if the tool is otherwise legal, and regardless of whether you intended the change when the photograph was taken.

Bizarre and creepy and I'm not intelligent enough to figure out what it is, and maybe that's best so the imagination has no leash. I won't bore you with my thoughts, but it's awesome. (The photo, not my thoughts.) Wonderful tones. Pressing and disturbing.
