A very cold and blustery sunrise under clear skies. The new snow was blasting around Long's Peak, as the long wavelength light touched to summit.
During the challenge submission window, there was only one morning which had this combination of atmospherics and long wavelength light.

Just to clarify, that is snow blowing around. It's not steam. Temps were sub zero F. where I was standing at 9200'. Probably -25 F. at 14,000' above sea level. There are times when the snow goes directly from frozen phase to cloud phase and that could be happening, too. Mostly, it's blowing snow, as seen from about 3 miles distance.

Disappointing votes. This image lost 0.75 AFTER the first 75 votes were cast. Not sure what that's all about. All the comments, as of now, are positive. No one has mentioned any objectionable features.
38 votes below 5, without one indication of the reason in a comment. That is a hostile voting environment. Two very low votes were scrubbed at rollover. |

This should have done better, I had another look just now and I still can't figure it out. I am still scratching my head over this one.
