 Not sure of the exact age of this pan, to be honest. I know it came to me from my Grandmother when she passed 11 years ago, and to her from my great-grandmother.

Adjusted contrast, levels, used "clarify" and some gaussian blur on the background because it had some banding.

resized, sharpened.

I love the artifact and the story implied by the title. I can't help but feel that a diagonal composition might have been more powerful. Did you use a lensbaby on this?

Interesting shot. For a cast iron skillet this is as good as it gets. Wonderful contrast.

I have three cast iron skillets from my grandma. Great subject to photograph. I really like the angle here and the fact that the handle is crisp and sharp. 8
