I thought this might end up just being a photo of a sun and the cross but wow it's so much more. Very cool. |

Astounding.
And let me add that you generate some of the most interesting histograms.

Even without deciphering it all, this is outstanding. Of special note is that both she and the camera seem ignorant of one another. The cross is puzzling, but I can live with that. |

So easy to dismiss this. So easy to move on past. So easy to think "just another one of those blurry messes". That face stopped me dead in my tracks. It haunts me. It inspires me. It is brilliant. |

This captures the feeling of the fragility of our existence so perfectly. A door cracked open just enough to see the fleeting image of a child passing. Time is so brutal as it sweeps us all away.
Did I say I love this? |

Haunting image. Truly. Titled perfectly. I must know how you did this. Mysterious and moody, I cannot stop creating tales to explain it. |

I must be not be enlightened enough to understand what the photographer is trying to communicate in the photo. Somewhat of a cross with a globe of light and a face peeking through... hmmm. 100 years old, cross, light, face, ghostly... Nope, not getting it. Scratching my head though.
Edited to add: It is a fine image with artistic merit. The grainy, ghostly feel leaves one with the sense that it is depicting the spirit world. A rift is opening up and one is seeing into it or something is coming out of it. This photo would otherwise score well in my opinion if it were in a different challenge. I don't think it fits well into this particular challenge though. |
