 My girlfriend and I were hanging out on South street "people watching" when this couple came walking by. I snapped two quick shots but I think I got caught from the look on the sunglass girls face. I beleive she said something that wasn't too nice judging from the reaction of the bike girl (how does she ride with those shoes?!)
I got this picture on 1x.com in a sepia version, figured I would try B&W here...hope it does well.

Lots to explore in this photo. The guy decked out in steampunk gear, is particularly interesting. The girl in the background with the bicycle seems to be unhappy with your taking her photo. I wonder how she rides a bicycle wearing shoes like that?

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I know I've seen this image before and I liked it then too. Once again I'm bound to comment on the girl behind (the star of the image) and how she is looking on in disbelief - and then we notice her shoes and we wonder who she is kidding with her knuckle duster heels!

Critical stuff: I think it would be more powerful with a bit more contrast.

Overall: Excellent street shot.

what an interesting trio of people...I can't stop staring at her heals nor her expression of "really", his nose/arm thingie and the gal's facial express of "bring it on"...what a group of characters...I am old...so very, very old
