Gave you an 8. Very fine work, deserving of a higher placement than it got.

Lovely, sweet portrait. Think I might have cropped out whatever is in the lower foreground.

A great high key shot. I'm not a fan of the border choice - doesn't quite fit the ambiance of the photo (for my taste).

Beautiful high key picture. I don't mind the blownout skin in the least. Its funny how absolutely vital that elbow is, to allow the viewer to imagine the rest of the body. Who would have thought elbows can be that important. I love the focus on the eye. 8

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Spectacular DOF / selective focus and so wonderfully toned and exposed too. The detail on the lashes is just amazing, especially against the overall smoothness of the rest of the image. The composition too - excellent and effective: bold to place the area of interest up there and trust in the negative space.

Critical stuff: Nothing really.

Overall: An excellent image that I like a lot.
